This book is about a father who can only feel his arms and legs sometimes.  He quits his job at the airport to stay home with his daughters while his wife works at a hotel.  The dad wants to be really cool.  When Maggie sees a boy at school who is really nice to her, she asks her dad for some tips on how to be cool.  Maggie is really smart, but she wants Clyde to notice her.  Then she goes on a suspicious trip with her sisters and her mom but no dad!  Read the book to find out what happens next.

This book is about making a difference.  Trevor protects a nursing home patient from bullies, but he worries that they will bully him instead.  As soon as Trevor and Petey (the nursing home patient) meet, Petey knows that they are meant to be friends.  Petey has cerebral palsy and he was misdiagnosed when he was a baby.  Lots of people think that Petey is scary and crazy, but Trevor learns that you just have to get to know him.  This book is a perfect, hopeful story.

This story is tragic because Hurricane Katrina was a big terrible storm. It's about trusting people and accepting their gifts. Blooomability is about a girl who is sent away to live with her aunt and uncle that she hardly knows. She finds herself in Switzerland and she misses her family so much. She finds out that her uncle is the head of the international school in Switzerland. She is enrolled in the school and finds out about different cultures and makes new friends, while also finding more " bloomabilities" then ever before.
