There are a lot of cause-and-effects in her life. Most of them don't even seem like they should match up, but sometimes life likes to throw you a curveball. When Miranda starts getting notes about saving lives, and lots of other things, she knows that this is more abnormal than the usual weirdness in her life. Hint-Hint: You need to read A Wrinkle In Time before you read this book because it will give away a lot of the end of A Wrinkle In Time.
