This book is a sequel to the adventuresome book Caddie Woodlawn.  Caddie and her siblings are still up to no good.  In this book they have lots of adventures like finding secret melons, having snowball fights, and adopting sickly animals.  Magical Melons is a captivating book wit lots of details and excitement!  This Newberry winning author fills this book with funny tales that will make you laugh out loud.  I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys interesting novels.
